(English) The Global Lebanese Investors (GLI), represented by its Chairman Mr. Jacques Sarraf, has signed an MoU with the UAE International Investors Council during the UAE-Lebanese Economic Forum held in Abu Dhabi on the 5th of December, 2018.

Mr. Sarraf spoke of GLI and its objectives during his intervention in the opening ceremony of the forum which was organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Federation of Chambers in the UAE, and included UAE businessmen and investors from various sectors.

The UAE International Investors Council brings together UAE international investors and coordinates action amongst them. Its members have the opportunity to support investment decision-making as well as economic and political decision-makers at both economic and political levels in the UAE. The UAE Cabinet provides the moral support to the Council represented in approving the establishment.

The signed MoU will support the cooperation between both countries in order to develop the economic relationship and provide businessmen in Lebanon and UAE with the proper information, expertise, training, and opportunities for better investment environment.
